Introducing Admin Role

by Laurent Pellegrino, Founder & CEO
New

Roles define what actions collaborators are allowed to perform. Today, we’ve introduced a new Admin role and refined collaborator permissions.

With Noticeable, project collaborators can have one of the following roles:

  • Viewer: this role grants read permission to your project data with 3 exceptions: access to billing data, API tokens and Zapier API key is forbidden.
  • Editor: an editor inherits viewer permissions and is granted write access to posts and labels only.
  • Admin: an admin inherits editor permissions and is granted write permission to all project data (posts, labels but also project, timeline and widget settings).
  • Owner: the user who creates a project is automatically granted the owner role with full read and write permissions to project data. Only one owner is allowed per project and it cannot be changed.

You can now also edit a collaborator role from your project settings without revoking and sending a new invitation.

GDPR Compliance ⚖️

by Laurent Pellegrino, Founder & CEO
Announcement

You’ve most probably already heard of the General Data Protection Regulation, more commonly known as GDPR. This regulation from the EU is overhauling the requirements for businesses who collect, process and transfer the personal data of EU citizens.

We’re writing to let you know that Noticeable is fully GDPR compliant. Our privacy policy has been updated to clarify some points.

You can download our Data Processing Agreement and read more on our help center article "What’s Noticeable EU GDPR compliance status?".

IP Access Management

by Laurent Pellegrino, Founder & CEO
New

You asked for it, we delivered! You can now control access to your project data by IP addresses.

The new IP Access Management feature is a great manner to allow people accessing your Timeline page from authorized devices only. In addition to making your Timeline private, the filtering is also applied for Widget data and accesses to the Noticeable GraphQL API.

Once enabled, project data are accessible from whitelisted IP addresses or ranges only. Any other access attempts will be blocked.

How to enable the feature?

The feature is managed per project:

  1. Open a project page.
  2. Select “Settings” in the project menu bar.
  3. Click on "Configure Filtering", then "Enable IP Filtering".
  4. Allow new devices by clicking on “Whitelist Address” button.

As usual, let us know what you think about this new feature.

Save Up to 20% Off Noticeable Plans

by Laurent Pellegrino, Founder & CEO
New

We’re excited to introduce a new annual billing option available to all Noticeable customers! In addition to the month-to-month billing that you’re used to, you may now choose a one-year subscription that will save you 2-months off any of our current plans.

Annual billing means you’ll pay once every year. It’s easy to switch over to annual billing, simply visit your "Billing & Usage" section. Select "Change Plan", move the switch from Monthly to Yearly and confirm by clicking on "Yearly Billing".

Note: The annual fee does not include any applicable transaction fees.

Along with annual billing, we’ve introduced new Noticeable plans. Your current plan and its pricing will not change unless you decide to switch to a new plan. You can use the "Change Plan" link to see what your current plan is and to pick a new one.

User Feedback 📣

by Laurent Pellegrino, Founder & CEO
New
Newspages
Widgets

Last week we announced Emoji Reactions. Today, we are excited to introduce User Feedback!

This new feature allows your users to send you feedback by commenting on a post, directly from your Widget or Timeline. Comments are hidden, meaning users won’t be able to see others’ comments. Only your team and you are able to read messages and get users information.

How does it work?

User feedback is available with the Business plan. When creating a post, check the new User feedback option to enable the comment input below the post shown to users.

On your project dashboard, each post displays a feedback icon that summarizes the number of comments you received. Upon click, you can read the messages and get detailed information about the user who submitted the feedback:

By default, comments are anonymous. You can automatically link users name and email with comments sent from the Widget by using our SDK. Read the installation guide for more information.

Emoji Reactions 🙂

by Laurent Pellegrino, Founder & CEO
New
Newspages
Widgets

Today, we have a big update to share: Emoji Reactions. They are a fun, low-effort means for users to engage on updates and for you to better understand what people think.

Why Emoji Reactions?

Getting people to actively participate is key to developing stronger relationships. Users who engage consume, on average, 4 times as much content compared to passive users. Converting more passive users to active participants means more time on site, direct traffic, and audience loyalty.

How is it working?

Emoji Reactions are available with the Business and Enterprise plans right now. When you create/edit a post, you have a new option to enable/disable reactions. Upon publications, users can share their feeling about your update in just one click. Statistics are aggregated over time and made visible per post in your dashboard to analyze performances:

What do you think?

As you probably guessed, the Emoji Reactions feature is enabled for this post. Be sure to react to let us know what you think. If you have ideas or feedback, let us know by leaving a comment below.
